what i have been adding to my documentary

This week I have been creating the title for our documentary we have made it look like the tatoo gun is drawing our title.Yesturday I collected lots of pictures of old pictures of tatoos to new ones starting with the man who first ever got a tatoo ,the eyptions , sailors ,army. All through the stages to the new fashionable tatoos that people are gettin at the moment like celebrities.

Feedback.

Today I have spoken with a prfesional about our documentary and he suggests that we include more things off our blog into the documentary because you shouldont put things on your blog if your not going to include it in your documentary. He thinks we should put some box pops in our documentary , print pictures off of celebs with popular tatoos and extreme tatoos like the lepord man that has tatoos all over his body and show this to people in the street and film their rection. He said that we shoud show some pictures of us filming to put on our blogs. We have some pictures of magazines that we found in the tatoo parlor on our blogs he says that we should print them out , zoom in on them and use them as cut aways on our documentary.Apart from this he says our documentary is very good so far.

formal proposal for skin deep.

This documentary is about tatoos , it will be including lots of interesting things such as why do people love scaring there skin and the trends that come and go.This documentary will be objective and will give a fair view of tatoos. We are putting a voice over the documentary so that the audience can clearly understand what is being shown and said.In this documentary will will be investigating tatoos and discussing the bad things and good things about tatoos. The channel that we would want this documentary to be shown on is channel 4.We want it to be shown at around 8pm because tatoos are only for over 18s and we wouldont want to advestise them to a younger age group. We have chosen channel 4 because alot of documentarys are shwon on channel for and we want a mixed age group to watch it.It would be shown on a week nite because student/young adults are going to be most interested in this documentary and we feel if we show it on a week nite they are most likely to watch it because they will be in.Our target audience is 15-25 we have chose this age group because this is the age that will be most interested and likely to get one.It took us about 2 weeks to find a place that would let us film in their tatoo parlour we spent alot of our spare time trying to sort it all out and finding a day and time that we could all make.We rang 5 tatoo companys befor we got a yes.The lady that owns the parlour rang some of her customers to try and get one of them to let us film them getting it done and we went to alot effort trying to get it rite.Whem we arrived at the tatoo parlor the customer didont turn up and the lady the owns the parlour asked her husband to get a tatoo so we could film it and he agreed. We made 30 questionaires with questions about tatoos and handed them out in different places to people ages around 15-25.In our documentary we will talk about the history and 21st centary about tatoos so we can look at the different fashions and how they have changed. The documentary is a liniar narrative we are aiming it on a recent popularity of tatoos because we think most people will be interested in tatoos at the moment. In the documentary we will show pictures of different tatoos some on famouse people and a video of a tatoo being done on someone and we will keep the noise of the needle to give the effect. In our documentary we will have names under pics and names through the videos in the documentary so the audience know who they are.
The resouces we will use are:- Camera to film the documentary.
-Micraphone for peple speacking and the voice over.
-Tripod for the camera.

Some arcive matiriel.

These are some of the magazines about tatoos that you can buy that show lots of tatoos that are popular and some can be allover the body.People that get allot of tatoos would propbably buy these they only come out once a month and are quite expensive they range from about £3.50 - £6.00 for regular size magazine.

Tatoo history
The word tatoo means to mark something , They came around about 5000 years ago.People discoverd them by accident by getting ash from the fire on thier skin and realised that is was marking them for life , so they started macking patterns. As time went on fashions came in and out and tatoos became bigger and bigger.Tatoos have been seen to give you a different image through the years. At one time you were seen to be a rock 'n' roll type of person.A few years ago they were seen to be really chavy and it was fashionable for chavs to have tatoos on their neck. Now I tatoos are very mixed all sorts of people have them and they can be seen in all different ways.
